Christian et Adriana Karembeu ont formé l’un des couples les plus en vue de l’histoire du football français.
L’année 1998 a été particulièrement faste pour Christian Karembeu. Sur un plan sportif en premier lieu avec la victoire du Real Madrid en Ligue des champions et moins de deux mois plus tard le sacre des Bleus à la Coupe du monde. Mais l’ancien Nantais a conclu l’année de la plus belle des manières, en épousant Adriana Karembeu le 22 décembre. La mannequin avait été l’une des supportrices des Bleus les plus en vue durant le Mondial.
